Summer fun

What is possibly more fun than in the heat of summer spontaneously going and jumping into a lake and on top of that blobbing (as the kids call it) Christopher to the moon??!! This was such a good day for me..slippin sliding and swimming around like a fish...just being in the moment... you know not thinking about all of the things I am supposed to do and be...how refreshing in more ways than one... and yes I am holding my nose so go ahead and make fun like everyone else but I won't stop until I die.

Just wanted to show off all of the men in my life...at times I do feel a little outnumbered when there are bursts of laughter after a belch or passing of gas or the times when all of them walk(or roll) past a huge pile of crumbs on the floor and no one seems to notice... but there is by far more sunshine than rain my friends for I never have to open a door or carry in a single bag for the rest of my life... oh and you know those tight jars that may cause a little trouble at times...got that covered too. It's a pretty good life.

The most amazing thing happens with children it is like having a garden...at first you are just putting all of this work in without seeing a single bloom and then suddenly one day you wake up and there they are in all of their splendor. "Coopy Ken" is now coming into his own... rolling across the entire floor, yelling a bit louder when his brother sits on his head, sleeping longer (yippee!), and smiling every time his eyes are open. He is the best surprise of my life thus far and another huge example of how God's plans are so much greater than my own.
