Gardens

A few days ago we went to visit my grandparents, who have some very impressive gardens. Their back yard is like a bird paradise and the boys loved watching them along with the squirrels. We enjoyed our visit and hope to go back soon when both kids are well.

I don't know about your men, but my man likes music for the beat... he actually really likes songs with a solo guitar part and often times has no idea what the words to any song really are. I on the otherhand, feel that songs are pointless without words... I mean the words are the point right??!! SO, when we are riding in the car and we play the "who can sing the most songs game?" while randomly changing the station, you can guess who wins and who makes up the most hilarious versions while begging, "wait, I really know it!!" The real reason I love Christian music is because it is like singing a prayer. One of the new ones that I really like is by Brandon Heath called "Give me your eyes" and for all you girls like me here are some of the WORDS...

Playdate

How glorious it is to have friends... to run and play and not know that there is really much else in the world.

The price of a phone call

He makes a good cat woman huh? These little darlings can climb now, which means they are getting into all of the forbidden things again hence the blue marker which they decorated each other with, as well as a variety of their toys, the table, and a window all in the space of one phone call. It's five o'clock somewhere right??!!

The truth is he almost looks drunk off the puffs... I mean you can obviously tell that he thinks they are better than anything I have ever considered giving him..."Mom, where were these the past 17 months??!!"

Ladies, don't we all love the time of year when we have extra things to do... special areas to take care of and bring out of hibernation shall we say... well, I found these little things and I am a believer...one of those things once again that I discovered and then immediately thought, "why didn't I think of that?!!"

Rosemary Beach

We had a glorius time at the beach if you omit the fact that both children were sick. The architecture of this small community is stunning, everyone rode their bikes everywhere and it was just delightful. My darling brother Justin went with us and so we took turns watching the kids... it was great... for an entire hour Damien and I played in the ocean and soaked up some significant Vitamin D.
