The Champions

There are few moments in a person's life when they are so happy that they cry and so proud of someone that they don't even know how to tell them. The announcers have said, " the best performance in Atlantic Sun history", "this kid has ice water in his veins, he's incredible!", "he has put this team on his back and carried them"... and it goes on. Justin, my baby brother, scored 32 points in the Championship game to take his team to "the dance" a.k.a the NCAA tournament for the first time in history. He has dreamed of this day since he was a little boy and it's now a reality. Congratulations to the most valuable player and thank you for allowing all of us to be a part of the dream. You are golden.
Justin hugging his coach, Rick Byrd, who after 20 years of coaching is going dancing for the first time! He, like the rest of us, is glad someone like JD came along.
